Goal 17 Partnership with the Mayor of London to offer support to 100,000 disadvantaged young people

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for Goal 17. In partnership with the Mayor of London and his "New Deal for Young People" initiative, we have been chosen to extend our award-winning mentoring programmes across the entire city of London. This exciting new contract will allow us to bring our expertise in volunteer mentor development to support disadvantaged young people on an unprecedented scale.

Our mission has always been to empower disadvantaged young people by connecting them with dedicated volunteer mentors who can provide guidance, support, and inspiration. Over the years, our programs have transformed the lives of hundreds of young people across the UK, and now, with the support of the Mayor’s office, we will be able to reach even more.

As part of this program, we are proud to introduce a new Digital Mentor Academy. This innovative platform will provide comprehensive training and support to mentors from community organisations across London, ensuring they are fully equipped to make a positive impact. The Mayor’s ambition is to ensure that 100,000 disadvantaged young Londoners gain access to a mentor, and our Digital Mentor Academy will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

The academy will offer a range of resources, including online courses, interactive workshops, and ongoing support networks. Our aim is to make sure every mentor feels prepared, confident, and supported throughout their mentoring journey. By doing so, we hope to create a ripple effect of positive change that will benefit the entire community.

Since being awarded the contract earlier this year, we have successfully completed a pilot program that received enthusiastic feedback from participants across the city. The insights gained from this pilot have been invaluable in shaping the full-scale rollout of our program.
